Summary, etc. This study tried to determine the effect of Audio-lingual Approach and its relation to the academic achievement in English of Grade eight students in Salawag National High School in the City Division of Dasmariñas. Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions: 1. What are the pre-test results of the control and experimental group in English? 2. What significant difference exists between the pre-test results of the control and experimental group in English? 3. What are the post-test results of the control and experimental group in English? 4. Is there a significant difference between the post-test results of the control and experimental group in English proficiency? 5. What significant difference exists between the pre-test and post-test results of the control group in English? 6. Is there a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results of the experimental group in English? 7. What lesson exemplars may be designed to improve the academic performance of the grade eight students using audio-lingual approach.
