This study determined the level of English proficiency level of selected college students, specifically, Cavite State University to serve as basis for a language program. The data was gathered using the Cambridge Practice Test (2015), divided into four parts: reading and use of English, listening, writing, and speaking. The researcher used the Common European Framework to classify the respective proficiency level of the students as beginner, elementary, intermediate, upper intermediate, advanced or proficient. A total of 277 participants took the test. |
