The researcher wanted to find an intervention to be used in teaching to improve the academic performance in Filipino since it was found out that the performance rating in this subject was continuously deteriorating. The study answered the questions based on the results of the pre-test and post-test in Filipino of the experimental and control groups before and after the intervention. It also found pout the significant difference of experimental and the control group in pre-test and post-test. The study looked for recommendations on how to improve Filipino instructions.
