This study was conducted to assess the Reading and Mathematics Skills of Grade Two in Dasmarinas Elementary School as basis for a proposed remediation program. The subjects included one hundred sixty-two (162) grade two pupils of Dasmarinas Elementary School. Specifically, this study determined the reading and Mathematics skills of the Grade Two pupils in the pre-test; respondents reading and Math skills in the pre-test; reading and Mathematics skills performance of the respondents in the post-test after the intensive remediation classes; respondents' reading and Mathematics in the post-test; respondents' reading and Mathematics pre-test and post-test; and reading and Mathematics performance of the Grade Two pupils.
