This study specifically tried to determine the significant difference between the pretest results in Mathematics between the experimental and control groups and the significant difference between the post-test results in Mathematics between the experimental and control groups. Based on the findings, a remediation program mat be proposed. This study dealt on the effectiveness of mastery teaching technique in Mathematics.They showed significant gain in the academic performance and improvement in Mathematics. The correlation-qualitative reaesrch was conducted to (112) Grade 2 learners of Diego Mojica Memorial School., City of General Trias, Cavite for the School Year 2017-2018.
