By: Quillao, Raquel DContributor(s): Mecate, Mario S. PhD [adviser]Material type: TextTextDescription: ii, 154 leaves: illustrations; 28 cmSubject(s): Academic achievement | Mathematics -- Study and teaching | Educational gamesDissertation note: Thesis (MaEd) -- Philippine Christian University, 2019. Summary: This experimental study using intact groups, for the experimental and the control was designed to determine the effect of Game-Based Learning on students' achievement in Mathematics as basis for lesson exemplars. It specifically determined the mean score in the Mathematics pre-test of the control group and experimental group; the significant difference that exists between the pre-test mean score in the Mathematics post-test of control group and experimental group; the significant difference exists between the post-test mean scores of the students under the control group and the experimental group; and; the significant differences exist between the mean scores of pre-test and post-test of the students under the control group and the experimental group. Lastly, based on the findings of this study, the proposed Lesson Exemplars were developed.
