520 _aThe study was conducted primarily to assess the level of parental support and academic performance of the grade 8 students of Governor Ferrer Memorial National High School-Main during the school year 2018-2019. This study used parental involvement questionnaire to identify the profile of the respondents and assess the support received from their parents and their form 138 or high school card for their academic performance. The findings of the study revealed that most of the respondents are living with both their parents. Educational support through constant reminders on how important school is the most evident form of support.
